I realized this week that I shared Molly Burke’s apartment design on YouTube, but never here on the blog! Molly wanted something that felt really feminine and mixed a fun colorful (pink) vibe with higher end luxury pieces.

I wanted something that felt extremely peaceful and clean, and something that was easy to keep looking that way all the time: a little oasis in my house!

Before this year, I killed so many plants. The things I used to do to them are laughable to me now, because I’ve learned so much this year and I was doing everything wrong before.

One thing I see many people do is choose lots of little cute pieces that feel like a little bit of personality but not too much of a splurge, and they put them all around the room and sort of hope that will be enough to tie it together.

I impulsively moved a bunch of furniture out and into our living room, beginning a way bigger project than I actually had time for.
